Fahrenheit 451 Questions on pg 148-158

1.The men laughed when they told montage don't judge a book by its cover is because they were like books because they read books and memorized them then they burned them so in a way they were giant walking and talking living books.
2. Montag still cares for mildred because he still loves genuinlly her no matter how she is and he is a loyal person to her. I think the author wants us to know this about him to show his sensitive side because montage seems unhappy.
3. In the book the hands represent the personality of each character I still don't fully understand how all I remember is that the hand represent each of the characters personalities.

4. granger remembrance of his grandfather of what his grandfather did  not how he was.
5. three seconds is "all the time in history"because it only takes three seconds and everything could change in an intant for example it could be all nice and a great day and in just three seconds that could all change and be the totally opposite.
6.the significance of the phoenix was  that it is was immortal i just remember reading that it would just burst out into flames out of now where.
7. From the beginning of the book til the end Montag has changed dramatically in the begin go he would kind of hide from other the interests in the books he read and now in the end he seems so open about tell what he loves to do and isn't afraid to show it.
